FAQ

Questions Loan Officers Ask Before Moving

Clear answers first. Specific licensing, employment and compensation questions should be confirmed against current written policies and agreements.

Why would I consider NEXA?

Loan officers often evaluate NEXA because of the wholesale lender model, compensation flexibility, broad product access, remote-work capabilities, training and business-building opportunities.

How much can I earn?

Compensation depends on your selected plan, production, loan economics, state rules and current NEXA program terms. Use the calculator for illustrations only and confirm your actual pay plan in writing.

What does “up to 400 BPS” mean?

It refers to qualifying maximum compensation scenarios described by current recruiting materials. It is not guaranteed on every loan, every lender or every transaction.

What is NEXA 100?

The current recruiting site describes it as a qualifying program that may reimburse certain standard deductions on eligible transactions. Participating lenders and qualification rules can change.

Do I have to recruit loan officers?

No. Recruiting is presented as optional. It can be relevant to revenue share or certain program qualification paths, but an LO can focus on personal origination.

What happens to my existing pipeline?

Every transition is different. Active loans should be reviewed individually based on current employer rules, licensing, disclosures, investor requirements and NEXA onboarding guidance. Do not assume every loan can be transferred.

How long does licensing take?

Timing varies by state, regulator, current sponsorship and completeness of the application. A transition plan should be built around your actual licenses and pipeline.

Can I work remotely?

Remote work may be available where permitted, subject to state licensing, branch/office requirements, company policy and compliance rules.

What support is available?

NEXA recruiting materials describe onboarding, training, technology, compliance and peer/coaching resources. Availability and program details should be confirmed during onboarding.

Is BREL the mortgage company?

No. Building Real Estate Legacies is a promotional and recruiting brand. Mortgage employment and lending activity are through the properly licensed mortgage company identified in applicable disclosures.
